Sarah was born and raised in Monroe County and graduated from Pittsford-Mendon High School. She went to Duquesne University and earned her BS in Athletic Training (Sarah is 1 of only 3 Athletic Trainers within the Lattimore Network) and continued her education at Gannon University, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While earning her Doctorate, she was also working as one of the Athletic Trainers for the Men’s water polo, and the Women’s Acrobat and Tumbling teams. She spent her first year as a PT traveling across the country while working in a variety of settings including:  sub-acute rehabilitation, inpatient rehab, home health care, long term care/maintenance therapy, and outpatient orthopedics. 

In 2019, Sarah became Certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion Management (VR/CON), through the American Institute of Balance.
