OVERVIEW

Founded in 1992 by husband-and-wife physical therapists John and Cindy Shuman, Lattimore Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation has grown from a local practice into a network of 36+ clinics across Monroe, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Yates, and Wayne counties.

Through that growth, Lattimore has remained locally owned, with the same focus on exceptional patient care and strong connections to the communities we serve. Our dedicated team works with patients of all ages and activity levels, helping them recover from injury, improve their mobility, manage pain, and get back to the activities that matter most to them.

For more than 30 years, our goal has remained simple: to provide exceptional physical therapy in an environment where people feel welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for.

The Lattimore Way

The Lattimore Way is our approach to physical therapy — and it starts with putting people first.

We take the time to listen, understand what brought you to physical therapy, and learn what you want to get back to doing. From there, your physical therapist develops an individualized plan of care built around your needs and goals, combining hands-on treatment, movement, exercise, education, and guidance throughout your recovery.

Just as importantly, we want you to feel comfortable and supported while you’re here. Our therapists genuinely enjoy what they do, and we believe that shows in the positive, welcoming atmosphere you’ll find throughout our clinics. Physical therapy takes work, but your appointments should also be something you can feel good about coming to.

Ultimately, The Lattimore Way is about more than treating an injury or condition. It’s about building relationships, celebrating progress, and helping each patient get back to doing what they love. When our patients feel good about their experience and feel confident recommending Lattimore to their friends and family, we know we’ve done our job.
