Allison Pulvino graduated from D’Youville College in Buffalo NY and throughout her career she has worked exclusively in outpatient orthopedics. With over a decade of valuable experience, she has extensive knowledge in the evaluation and treatment of the spine, post-operative recovery, sacroiliac joint pain, and sports-related injuries.
Allison also is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner, using specialized hands-on (also called “manual therapy”) techniques to resolve pain and restore normal movement and function, and also is trained in Graston®, an instrument based soft tissue technique treating muscle and connective tissue problems. She is a certified Excellus Community Spine Pathways practitioner. Allison routinely attends new trainings to broaden her skills, such as Muscle Energy mobilization technique, along with the newest industry advancements and staying atop the latest research related to sports medicine and orthopedics.
Allison is a Rochester native, graduating from Fairport High School in 2000. She was on their varsity swim team for four years and has been a lifelong competitive swimmer since age eight. She currently lives in Greece NY and is happy to have so much of her family living in Western NY. Allison enjoys exercise of all sorts, including triathlons and 5K road races as well as lifting weights and her favorite, PiYo classes, which she has been certified to teach since 2016.
