Karen graduated 30 years ago with a degree in Physical Therapy from University of Buffalo. She also has an Athletic Training degree from SUNY Cortland, and a Masters in Athletic Training from SUNY Buffalo. She has attended many continuing education courses over the years including four functional training courses through The Gary Grey Institute, four McKenzie lumbar/cervical courses, women’s health issues, orthopedic/sports medicine seminars and, most recently, four geriatric orthopedic courses focusing on injuries specific to that population and fall prevention.
Karen has been married to Mike Napierala for more than 25 years. They have four children: Jordan, Kyle, Mandi, and Henry. Kyle is a student at Ohio University studying Business and Sports Marketing. Mandi is at College of Charleston in South Carolina, playing Division I volleyball and studying communications.

I am fortunate that my present situation allows me the freedom to serve my patients and the practice full time.”
