Diane was born and raised in Watertown, New York. She attended Cortland University, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Physical Education. She then graduated from Daemen University in 1986 with her Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy. She started her career at St. Joseph’s Intercommunity Hospital with the Catholic Health System of Buffalo. Then became the Director of AthletiCare from 1988-1996 while assisting in developing a sports medicine center and an outreach program to provide Athletic Training in local high schools and colleges. She then started her own private practice called Family Care Physical Therapy in Amherst, NY, from 1992-2010. She also taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Buffalo for orthopedics during that time. During her career, she became a Sports Certification Specialist. After 40 years of working and living in Buffalo, she has retired to Penfield to be closer to her family and grandchildren. She spends her spare time looking after her grandchildren, and she enjoys biking, hiking, and playing golf.
